Building a Police Force Responsive to 21st Century Challenges

Phnom Penh, July 2, 2024 – Australia is collaborating with Cambodia to enhance the capabilities and responsiveness of its police force. This partnership aims to create a safer and more just society, reflecting the commitment of both nations to these goals.

Recently, the Police Academy of Cambodia (PAC) celebrated the completion of two key training programs supported by the Australian Federal Police through the Mekong Australia Partnership. These programs are designed to address modern challenges and improve the effectiveness of law enforcement in Cambodia.

Special thanks are extended to the Institute of Foreign Languages and the PAC Internal Working Group for their invaluable contributions to these training initiatives.
